I keep receiving the error message, which reads, "Your code returned 'paper wins' instead of 'undefined' when the inputs are scissors and rock." I can't understand why, please help?

Thank you in advance.

Replace this line with your code. Do not remove the backticks.
var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
	computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
	computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
	computerChoice = "scissors";
}

var compare = function(choice1, choice2) {
    if (choice1 === choice2) {
       return "The result is a tie!";
    }
    else if (choice1 === "rock") {
        if (choice2 === "scissors") {
            return "rock wins";
        }
        else {
            return "paper wins";
        }
    }
    else if (choice1 === "paper") {
        if (choice2 === "rock") {
            return "paper wins";
        }
        else {
            return "scissors wins";
        }
    }
    else if (choice1 === "scissors") {
        if (choice2 === "paper") {
            return "scissors wins";
        }
        else {
            return "paper wins";
        }
    }
}
console.log("User's choice:" + userChoice);
console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);
compare(userChoice + computerChoice);

Hi this part

if (choice2 === "paper") {
            return "scissors wins";
        }
        else {
            return "paper wins";
        }

You if condition should be (choice2 === "rock")
And should return "rock wins "
And your else statement should return "scissors wins "
