Whenever i try to start Apache or MySQL from XAMPP it gives me the following errors:

11:01:26 PM [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.

Sometimes it stands by like this

11:02:25 PM [mysql] Attempting to start MySQL app…

Why these problems?

Thank you! Octav

as indicated by this error message, the log contains far more valuable information you need to troubleshoot the problem.

We programmers don’t know anything, even if you include the error log, we would just look at the log, try to exact the right problem, and google this to see how to solve it.

Its what programmers do

I thought guys here can give me a hint or something, maybe the XAMPP version is not working on Windows XP?

The error log doesn’t work either, it says “Cannot find the error.log file”

then the first two things i would google are:

xampp Cannot find the error.log file

then find out which version of xampp you have, and which platforms it support

edit: swap that, find first your xampp version and google which platform this support, then google about the error log file
