WTF How am i doing this wrong?

When I type this down
my_string = "stars"
print my_string
print my_string.upper()
it says error


my_string = "stars"
print my_string
print my_string.upper()

You're not doing this wrong, it's just that you haven't read the instructions clear enough.

It says that you have to print the length of "my_string" where in your case you're just printing out "my_string"

Some what like this:

print len(my_string)
