Word Up #8
Word Up - I have no idea what I'm doing wrong... possibly a glitch?

The error message is telling me "
Oops, try again. Did you create a variable called word?" But clearly I have created the variable. Please see my code below.

pyg = 'ay'

original = raw_input('Enter a word:')

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
    print original
word = "original.lower()"
first = word[0]

else:
    print "empty"

These two lines need to be indented so they are inside the if block.

Hi mtf,

Thanks for the reply, but it's still not going through. Here is my new error message.

"Oops, try again. It looks like word is set to "original.lower()" instead of "happy sunday"."

Remove the quotes. Sorry I didn't point that out earlier. One mistake at a time...
