Will i learn anything if i dont purchase codecademy pro?

And lets say if I do then what’s the difference between free and pro?

There is a lot of free content, though some of it may be out of date (i.e., Python 2) but that shouldn’t keep us from learning, especially if we need some grounding in the basics of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or programming in general (Python, Ruby, etc.)

The difference is mostly in the quantity of available courses. Pro includes Python 3, and a huge host of extra projects, quizzes and support venues (forum, Slack, etc.). There is enough free content for one to get their feet wet and determine aptitude and interests. It’s a good place to start.
