i dont know what tha

Each property/value pair should look like this:

Can you spot where you are missing a few colons?

.nav a {
color:#5a5a5a;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
padding-bottom:14px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-top: 14px;
text-transform: uppercase;
{

You've almost got it. One of your curly brackets is the wrong way round. The declaration, that means the entire block of property/values, must be between an opening and a closing pair of brackets: { ... }.
