Why the element with .slideUp() looks like going towards the center?

Question

Why the element with .slideUp() looks like going towards the center?

##Answer

Very true, in the exercise from the lesson on sliding, the image looks like it is being sucked in towards its center with .slideUp(), the main reason for this behavior is that it affects the height of the element during the transition before its display property changes to none, in other circumstances, the same effect would visually appear as if the element is sliding to the top, but since the exercise image has nothing on its surroundings we can clearly see the height adjustment, the same is perceived with .slideDown() and .slideToggle()
