Hello, everyone!
Why is the Excursion project part of the Data Engineer Career Path? It says we should use our knowledge of HTML and CSS but said path does not include any courses on those topics or seem to be related to them either. Should I just skip the project?
Thank you in advance.
Do you have a link to said project? Where does it fall in the syllabus of the path?
Hi, Lisa, thank you for your reply. Below is the link to the project.
https://www.codecademy.com/paths/data-engineer/tracks/seds-learn-git-ii-git-for-deployment/modules/seds-deploying-websites-using-git-and-github/projects/f1-excursion
The project falls in “Deploying Websites using Git and GitHub”, which, in turn, falls in “Learn Git II: Git for Deployment”.
The Excursion project likely integrates HTML and CSS to give context for front-end presentation, which complements data engineering skills. It’s useful for full-stack understanding, so skipping it may limit your growth.
