Why is it when I attempt to Math.floor(newton) the output in the console log does not change from being a decimal?

Learn JavaScript Syntax: Introduction | Codecademy

Is the link because I’m apparently supposed to post that but

let newton = celsius * (33/100)

console.log(newton)

Math.floor(newton)

console.log(newton)

Newton shows in the console lot as -90.09 for both of those console logs even though I thought the floor was supposed to push it to a whole number not a decimal. Am I misunderstanding what Math.floor() does?

Do you see anything wrong with when you use the Math.floor(). Also don’t forget to format your code: [How to] Format code in posts
