Why is Go's course so short?

I have decided to take up Go, and right now I am building a small wiki. It is really hard, especially having only a minimal knowledge in Go.

This leads me to ask the question: Why is Codecademy’s Go course so short?

JavaScript’s course goes as far to even mention the fetch function, while Go’s course doesn’t even mention maps. Why is that? I think Codecademy should extend their course a bit more.

I know most of the language courses have branches to different skill sets, like building backend applications, but I think Go should be extended a bit, especially because there is a lot to cover and I have struggled with many topics, like structs. It would really help the newbies here and give them enough to push forward through the problems they might encounter.
