I am old enough not to care!

  • eating

    1. rice

    2. and meatballs

  • sleeping

    • in a bed

    • or on a sofa

    • sadness

    • blandness

    • boringness

    Everything else that I have done works, but the image is just that black square with the white x in it. I have tried different images from my computer and the web but it just won't show them. I don't want to just ignore this and move on to other subjects. I want to be able to fix. I have Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
    Thanks,
    Cheryl

    images from your computer won't work, unless your computer happened to be configured as a webserver. Images from a website should work (if accessible) and you copy the image location (right click on image -> copy image location)

    you are missing a quotation mark (") after .jpg, here is the correct code:

    <img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0c/GoldenGateBridge-001.jpg" />
