Oops, try again. Your function fails on scrabble_score("DuNe"). It returns "2" when it should return "5".

My code returned "DuNe" correctly. My code returned ''5", still, I am getting that error message.

score = {"a": 1, "c": 3, "b": 3, "e": 1, "d": 2, "g": 2,
         "f": 4, "i": 1, "h": 4, "k": 5, "j": 8, "m": 3,
         "l": 1, "o": 1, "n": 1, "q": 10, "p": 3, "s": 1,
         "r": 1, "u": 1, "t": 1, "w": 4, "v": 4, "y": 4,
         "x": 8, "z": 10}
def scrable_score(word):
    print word
    word=word.lower()
    lst=[]
    number=[]
    for i in word:
        lst.append(i)
    for c in lst:
        if c in score:
            number.append(score[c])
            for a in number:
                int(a)
    return sum(number);

print scrable_score("DuNe")

#2

Remove this line, for starters. We should not be printing anything in the function.

Redundant code. Iterate the word.

result = 0
for c in word:
    result += score(c)

Thank You so much... You showed me a very nice code!
