Whitespace and Statements: Whitespace Means Right Space


For Lesson 6, when I indent def spam (): in the whitespace tutorial, the code still works, why?

But how does it come from print spam ( ) to those 2 results "12" and "0" ?

Maybe Pycharm uses a different Python? Python 3 vs Python 2.7.3?


Why not teach in updated versions?


Haha.....I think it takes time to update..I'm not sure if they are updating yet. It's just minor syntax things for what I see now (like different print statement syntax).


Just saying, you want to stay on top of things. Lol
