Where have I gone wrong. Just dont get what code should be

#1
    <?php
    function greetings($name) {
    echo $name * $name;
    }
    $name = 'bob';

greetings('bob!');

    ?>
  </p>
</body>

Oops, try again. It looks like your code printed '0' instead of 'Greetings, [your name here]!

#2

As the error message states, this line should look like,

    echo "Greetings, " . $name . "!";

The dot (.) is a string concatenation operator in PHP much like (+) in JavaScript.
