Where can i find png urls to put in my code

hello i want to know a website i can bring png urls from

@theendermasteryt

http://pngimg.com
from
all-free-download.com

or as @theendermasteryt mentioned

Do NOT use

AND
please virus-check the file !!!

do i have to download the png? when i download the png how do i put it in my code?

that depends, for codecademy? don’t download the image, copy the image url (image location) and use it as value for the src attribute of your image tag

so i go to the image right click then copy image link right?

You can either link to the original images source by using

<img src="linkToPng.com"/>

Or if you want the file within your repo organise your code base like so;

Project.folder
 -> index.html
 ->img
   -->png.png
 ->css
   -->stylesheet.css

And then within your code link to the root of the file like so:

<img src="img/png.png"/>

yes that’s correct :smiley:

thanks for helping me guys
:smiley:

you like:

oops i mean like:

<img src="picutrelink" />

and the picture link is this:

<img src="http://image.flaticon.com/icons/svg/13/13143.svg"/>

Thank you so much for your help :smiley:

Erm I’m pretty new to this forum too so I’m not too sure about ‘following’ but you can follow me on twitter and ask me questions or tweet me links to your posts if you like… :mortar_board: :computer: :satellite:

id love to follow you

and now you are followed XD dont look back tho you might see me following you

lol I didn’t get a following notification? Do you have twitter?

I would advise posting your questions on this forum and then linking me to them via twitter that way you can format your code :smiley:
