When do I use ';' in my code?

I’m a little confused on when I’m supposed to use ‘;’ in my code and when it is unnecessary. Does anyone have some clarification on this?

Hey @r22beats,

This is a great question. In JavaScript semicolons mark the end of a statement, to prevent code leaking into another statement. Almost like using a period to end a sentence. That being said, here is an article that I found super helpful early in my journey.
