What's the difference in adding a comma between selectors in CSS?

Hello all, my question is simply wondering what difference does it make whether I add a comma between multiple selectors in a css stylesheet?

.content-table thead tr {
  background-color: #35424a;
  color: #fff;
  text-align: left;
  font-weight: bold;

.content-table th,
.content-table td {
  padding: 12px 15px;

hi @rickyleediaz ,

it basically means you’re selecting more than 1 component’s props to amend.

component#1 {
/* Add CSS props here */

component#2, {
/* Add CSS props here */

it applies to reserved tags (e.g., body, html) and IDs (# hex) too.
