What was your win this week?

What was your win this week? It can be coding-related or not!

  • Did you complete a code challenge?

  • Did you participate in a Hackathon?

  • Did you start an off-platform project for your portfolio?

Excited to hear about everyone’s wins! :dancing_women:

Coding: Continued to move forward on the DS path. Need to write some notes on a few things so I have a better understanding of what I’m doing though.

Non-coding: I finished a freelance project. I also filled out my NCAA brackets :basketball:. Let’s see how off my picks are this year. haha.

Coding related: I started the Data Science Career path, and it’s been really fun and interesting so far. I’m currently 26% through it, cause I had previously completed a bunch of Python and SQL content (and some Pandas content too) haha.

Non-coding related: My free trial of a Task Management app finished, and I was truly sad until I decided to delete my account, and create it again. I got the free trial again :smiling_imp: :smirk_cat:

Finally hit a 100 day streak on Codecademy! I got up to 94 last summer, and have had minor setbacks that caused me to miss a day here and there ever since. But I did it, at last!

I’ve been a Codecademy Pro learner for 3 months now mostly in the Data Scientist and Computer Science paths. I work as a Business Analyst and very often I have to export data into a CSV and analyze and sort with Excel. My win this week is that for the first time I was able to write a Python program that automates the sorting and analyzing I have to do for one of my daily tasks in Excel. Now all I have to do is export the csv and enter some variables into my program and I have the data I need!

Winning with Codecademy!
