What is wrong with this code, I keep getting a message saying <li>'s font-size is 16px instead of 12px

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<title>Loving the font changes</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<h1 style="font-family: Arial">Big title</h1>
		 <ol>
		 	<li  style="font-size 16px; font-family: Arial">This item is big Arial.</li>
		 	<li  style="font-size 12px; font-family: Verdana">This item is medium Verdana.</li>
		 	<li  style="font-size 10px;  font-family: Impact">This item is small Impact.</li>
		 </ol>
	</body>
</html>

@hurrycome Hello. Could you please post your code so we can see it? Thanks.

I see missing colons after font-size property, in all 3 list items

@dreamthink, he did posts, just not so we could see it (no markup used) i often refer to this post, which explains markup nicely.

Also, be aware of the fact that you won’t get notified on edits. Just a thought, for the rest? You are doing good :slight_smile:

  • This is how you add style to a code:

    take the original tag: <p> </p>
    add in style=" " before >
    You don’t add the tag in again

    example:

    <p style="color: blue;"> my paragraph text </p>
