What is wrong with my box model code?

#1

Here is the task:

In style.css, set the minimum width of the paragraph to 200 pixels.

Here is my code:

p {
  color: #333;
  font-family: 'Roboto', sans-serif;
  font-size: 18px;
  font-weight: 100;
  line-height: 34px;
  min-width: 200px;
}

Here is the error message:

Did you set the minimum width of the paragraph?

What did I do wrong?

Usually a link to the lesson would help :slight_smile: But in this case I think it's a browser issue. Or whatever.
Try pressing (if you are using a mac) CMD + 0, or if you are using a windows computer, try CTRL + 0.

If that doesn't work, try upgrading your browser and/or downloading a different one.

If these suggestions don't work, please reply with a link to the lesson.

Hope I can help,
Sean

Thanks for the link. Your code seemed to work fine for me. Try out the suggestions in my first reply, and write back when you are finished experimenting :slight_smile:

#5

None of that worked. Chrome is up to date and Ctrl + 0 didn't fix it either

#6

Strange... I guess I really have no other suggestions but to send a bug report.

#7

Ok Thanks, I will do that :slight_smile:

#8

I ended up just resetting the exercise and retyping my code. This worked.

#9

Great! Glad your problem is solved :slight_smile:
