Oops, try again. The value for the original variable looks off, make sure that you entered a word containing only letters.

#2

Please show us your code containing the original variable. Thanks.

#3

new_word="Hussain"
new_word=[1:len(new_word)]

#4

We cannot see the original variable. Where have you declared it?

#5

is new_word my variable?

#6

A="Hussain"
new_word=[1:len(A)]
I decleared A as my original variable. but I got invalid syntax new_word=[1:len(A)] for colon ?

#7

The instructions ask us to get user input and cache it in the variable original. Have you written that line following, pyg = 'ay'? Did you print it out as directed?

Once we do that, then we have to validate the input. This takes the next two lessons complete. We may remove the line to print original for this step since we no longer need it.
