What is the best path or best courses for computational science (scientific computing)?

Python, R, and to some extent Matlab, are popular for scientific computing, and I think Bash/Shell and Git/GitHub are also critical. ML and AI are being applied in virtually every area of scientific computing.

Do you think the Data Scientist path would be most appropriate? Or am I missing something?

Also, it seems like Codecademy doesn’t have a course on cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc). Is this correct or am I missing something?

It’s not a course but depending on what you do it might be useful to learn regular expressions for pattern matching.
