In the context of this exercise, what is another way we might explore our data during the data science process?
Statistical calculations and visualizations of data can be very helpful to explore and understand data. However, unless we make other connections that are not immediately visible, different insights might not be made.
One other way we might explore data differently is to just play around with it or see other subtle connections, which can possibly create new insights.
For instance, say we had data for user searches on a search engine. Other than looking at only the keyword frequency, we might also consider looking at the time of day, and if the time of day has a connection to the keywords searched. Or, we might look at user ages, and see if that has a connection to the keywords searched.
