What if choice1 is Paper

#1

SyntaxError: Unexpected token else

/*var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
	computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
	computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
	computerChoice = "scissors";
} console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);*/
var compare = function(choice1 , choice2) {
if(choice1 === choice2) {
    return "The result is a tie";
}

else if(choice1 === "rock") {

 if(choice2 === "scissors") {
        return "rock wins";
    }
    else (choice2 === "paper")
        return "paper wins";
    }
};

else if(choice1 === "paper") {

    if(choice2 === "rock") {

        return "paper wins";
    }

    else(choice2 === "scissors")
        {return "scissors wins";}

       }
    };

#2

else if(choice1 === "rock") {

 if(choice2 === "scissors") {
        return "rock wins";
    }
    else (choice2 === "paper") //remove condition
        return "paper wins";
    }
}; //remove ;

else doesn't allow to have a condition. and dont put a ; after closing else if.
if choice1 === "rock" and choice2 === "scissors" then rock wins but if choice2 equal to not scissors then simply it should be paper.you dont need to write else (choice2 === "paper")
your code should be like

else if(choice1 === "rock") {

 if(choice2 === "scissors") {
        return "rock wins";
    }
    else {
        return "paper wins";
    }
}

do the same for the rest.
