What happened?

orders = ['daisies', 'periwinkle'].append('tulips')

It shows None in the terminal. What does it mean?

.append() is useful to add something to the list later. So either declare the list with 3 items or start with two items, and then on the next line use append

the append method doesn’t return anything, it just adds an item to the list. None indicates the absence of a return value
