I have been taking various data science courses on Codecademy to build skills I can use for projects at work. I had a roster of courses that I planned to complete over the next few months one of which included the next on my list “Learn Machine Learning” which after several searches, seems to be missing from the catalogue. All that remains is the follow up skill path “Intermediate Machine Learning” which lists it as a prerequisite. What happened to the course? will it be back on the site anytime soon?
Thank you.
Huh. That’s weird. I think your best bet is to fill out this form and ask CS directly as they’d have a better answer for you:
Will do! thanks for the tip.
In case anyone else wanted to know the answer:

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! We have recently removed our Learn Machine Learning course from our catalog, apologies for that confusion. However, I did ask our Curriculum team what recommendations they would make instead and they have provided me with the following!
They should take " build a machine learning model" – it is the new and improved intro skill path, covering everything that was in that course plus some new material.
If they prefer individual courses, the “Learn Machine Learning” course was broken up in the catalog revamp. Here are the individual courses that made it up:
- Machine Learning: Introduction with Regression
- Machine Learning: K-Nearest Neighbors
- Machine Learning: Logistic Regression
- Machine Learning: Random Forests & Decision Trees
- Machine Learning: Clustering with K-Means
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns and have a wonderful rest of your day.
Best wishes and happy coding,
Kaitlin
