if you read your given link then you can easily understand it.

Here, p means paragraph it starts from <p>....content....</p>
you can add anything in the paragraph but remember to put the open tag(<p>) And close tag (</p>), Closing tags have a forward slash (/) inside of them.

Something else we should add that is a little more subtle, concerning paragraph elements…

They are intended to hold textual content or images but not structural elements. In other words, even though they are block level elements, they may (should) not contain other blocks, only inline elements such as <span></span>, <img>, etc.

Structural elements include DIV, UL, BLOCKQUOTE, and so on.
