Hi! I am currently weighing my options of attending a Web Development bootcamp versus completing intensive courses here on Codecademy.
The biggest point in my mind that favors Codecademy is price. The Web Development bootcamp would cost $10,900. For that price, I could complete all 11 Codecademy intensive courses, and still have $8,700 left over!
However, I’m also considering the fact that I’d miss out on opportunities to collaborate on group projects with other student web devs in my area. That could be an excellent networking opportunity.
I see from the Learn More link under Codecademy intensives that it says “Community. Collaborate with a cohort of like-minded peers.” So, my question is, what is the collaboration like in the intensive courses? I’m interested in whether these courses provide good networking opportunities.
