What am I doing wrong?

#1

What am I doing wrong, the error is on the else line

<Below this line, add a link to the EXACT exercise that you are stuck at.>

<Below this line, in what way does your code behave incorrectly? Include ALL error messages.>
SyntaxError: Unexpected keyword ‘else’

```
var isEven = function(number) {
// Your code goes here!
if (number % 2 === 0); {
return true;
}
else {
return false;
}
};
isEven (2);
<do not remove the three backticks above>
#2
here:
if (number % 2 === 0); {
you have an unwanted semi-colon, it interrupts the if clause
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to figure it out for like 30 minutes!
