CSS:

h1 {
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
    color: #576d94
}

p {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #4A4943;
    font-family: Garamond, serif;
}

img {
    height: 100px
    width: 300px;
    border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

This is giving me an error:

Oops, try again.
Did you remember to give your image a 1px solid #4682b4 border?

I have tried resetting and refreshing the page, neither worked. I can't see what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help me?

#2

you are missing a semi-colon after height: 100px

#3

Hi, did you found how to solve it? I am stuck in the same place

#4

Indeed I did, thanks. However after fixing it the problem remains, I again tried clearing cookies and refreshing the page.

#5

I have! I was using Mozilla Firefox for the course so far, it seems to be a bug with this browser in particular. I used Google Chrome for this section and it worked fine.

#6

can you post your css code again?

#7

I am getting the same error. My code is:
h1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576D94;
}
p {
font-size: 18px;
color: #4A4943;
font-family: Garamond, serif;
}
img {
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682B4;
}

Same problem here.
My stylesheet:

h1 {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576d94;
}

p {
font-family: Garamond, serif;
font-size: 18px;
color: #4a4943;
}

img {
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

@patchface and @denichol, both your css code is fine. Make sure the browser zoom is set to 100% (either in browser settings or press ctrl 0, you can also zoom in with ctrl + and zoom out with ctrl -), if that doesn't work, refresh the page, if that doesn't work, try a different browser.

I had already tried all of those. I read another comment stating they were using Firefox and had the same problem. However, they switched to Chrome and it worked fine.
I tried the same in reverse, I was working on Chrome and switched to Firefox. I was able to carry on.
The bug seems to happen quite randomly.

Note: I had the same problem again later on at another lesson.

#11

can i see your html code?

#12

your height needs ";" take a look at it..

I had the same problem and the tip about the browser zoom solved it. Thanks!
