Hi everyone,

My name is Zack I am 28 and just started with coding a few months ago. I have been in sports my whole life and thought that I should learn something new to help me out when I officially join the workforce. Coding seemed like the best choice so here I am and I love it. Currently doing Javascript right now after having done HTML and CSS.

Good day all you guys, gals, and non-binary pals,

I am Nova, a banking supervisor out of Iowa. My desire to learn code (starting with HTML and CSS) is purely personal. I always wanted to and finally made the time to do it. I do not really know what I am going to do with all of the knowledge once I have become good at it but in this day and age, I feel as if there is no down side to know it.

Hello guys,
I’m Kofi, from Ghana. I’m based in a city called Tema. I’m not far from the capital. I’m an online student of BYU Idaho. I chose Applied Technology as my major for now and I will start taking classes next semester but I plan on graduating with a degree in CompSci. I love IT and it’s in my genuine interest to serve my community by helping people who lack digital literacy skills. I know by getting into IT, I could help people who are galling behind in this digital world. I am good at building web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also know the fundamental of Python programming and I enjoy making cool stuff with this coding language. I’m glad to be a member of this forum and I hope to know each and every one of you. I’d probably need your answers to question I’d ask. Nice to meet you.

Hello My name is Juan Alexander and I currently live in the East Coast. I’ve always been interested in computers and technology but I could never really decide what I really wanted to do with my life. After dropping out of college several times (Computer Science and Cyber security), I decided to just work full time and have jumped around from sales to restaurants. All the while I tried different online programs in digital marketing, web dev, and IT. I just had my 25th birthday on Saturday and I guess reality is starting to set in and I find myself really yearning for a meaningful career. I’ve decided to give myself a sort of unofficial Bachelors in Computer Science by completing the Google IT Support Specialist Professional Certificate to learn about networking and the behind the scenes of how a computer works. I’m also completing currently completing the Code Foundations on Codecademy and once complete I will be moving onto the Data Science Career Track on Codecademy as I understand the huge demand for data scientists and I discovered a love for data while completing a digital marketing course. The Data Scientist Career Track will allow me the opportunity to learn to program and code with a defined purpose rather than learn it abstractly and try to make sense of it. I am really excited to complete this Track and I can’t wait to finally break into the industry and let out my inner geek

Hello! I’m JJ, also go by Charlie. I’m a 27 year old Midwesterner who’s always been unsure of where to go in life, but has always loved video games. So I’ve decided to take that passion and try and make something of it – thus, coding! I’ve taken a couple intro classes and have focused primarily on learning front end (HTML, CSS, and JS) for now, but am starting to look into getting into C#. Outside of gaming and learning I love coffee, hanging out with my friends and chill roommates, and reading. Looking forward to what I learn here!

Hello. My name is Jeremy Hunt. I am from Florida. Originally, I started to go to school for Game Dev in Orlando, but I ended up getting a better deal transferring back home and earning a Web Dev/IT MGMT A.S. Degree on the way to also earning a Computer Science Bachelor’s. That is exactly what I did over the span of years and I received both degrees from Rasmussen College.

Fast forward to now - I am about a month in at a new job making websites for many of their clients. I will also need to manipulate a CRM that relies heavily on PHP.

I am using Codecademy to refresh on HTML & CSS because why not and dive into JavaScript, PHP, and SQL (again). Practice makes perfect. I also like to network, so feel free to check out my blog: https://jeremyhunt95.wordpress.com/ - Professional Website in progress!

Hey everyone! I’m Kendall from Austin, Texas, USA. I’m 29 years old and never went to college or any sort of vocational program. After COVID-19 left me jobless, I decided to do some soul searching and figure out my next step in life.

I’ve had an interest in web development for a while. I learned the basics of HTML/CSS on Neopets as a kid and then moved on to making Myspace and Tumblr layouts. For whatever reason, I never really considered it as a career option until now. I’m excited to learn as much as I possibly can and to hopefully meet some cool, like-minded people on this adventure!

Hey Everyone.
My name is Vaughan. I’m from New Zealand and I’m fairly new to the world of coding. Thanks to the virus outbreak I’ve had some time to re-evaluate the day to day activities and found a love for coding and solving problems.

My industry and profession is, I’m an all rounder I have many different skills from IT to cooking to trades and I do mostly anything that’s available for work. Unfortunately here in New Zealand there isn’t much work available especially in niche markets, however coding has opened a whole new world to me and I can work from home for anyone looking for a coder.

I plan on using new skills gained to solve many problems and make many people happy in the process. I plan on building website and web apps bringing people together.

Thanks For listening
Vaughan
