This issue doesn’t really “Kill” my forum activities, but it is quite annoying.
I also wanted to post this to see if anyone else had this issue.
As stated before, this isn’t breaking anything, it’s just kinda annoying. 
Edit: Clicking on posts already marked seems to add 1 to the count?
I have this same problem, nothing is coming up as unread in the posts I have replied to unless i go to the bottom of the page.
You have to manually switch the ones you want to count to “watching”.
I would like to have seen a bit further up on that screenshot, the nav bar where the “Unread” shows.
I thought that that was in the third screenshot? 
The third one shows 0 green bubbles but the second one shows lots of them.
It’s only those that have been affected by this. The others seem to be fine.
It isn’t as much as an issue, because I have to scroll down to see them, and eventually they will disappear. (I hope)
Oh, I see, I didn’t understand what exactly you were showing me. So, in those pictures, things from 3h ago do have their bubbles but new things that should have bubbles don’t.
I’ll try to keep an eye on mine.
