Hello Everyone,

Learning something we enjoy doing is a big part being successful.

Take a minute to think about what you enjoy the most about coding.

Fill in the blank with one reason.

My favorite part about learning to code is ____________________.

  • sheer satisfaction of fixing a problem

I usually make more problems than I solve when I code

I wanted to pick two:
the ability to create something AND the joy of learning.

 Yes, I usually end up asking more questions and then “voila!” we have more problems to fix.

That’s the challenge, to pick …

… why we love learning to code. In hindsight, looking at the list of answers I presented, we are not always in a situation where we can create something, fix something or necessarily bring a positive impact. The one thing consistent is that we are always learning.

For me, it’s the ability to create something. I think that’s why I love making apps so much (specially Android apps). Making something that will be useful (for me at least lol XD)…taking the time to design it, develop it, solve the problems that I encounter in the way…I just love it

I think it is fun just to be able to create things, and when I take a step back I think about what I learned.

Yes, although (in my opinion) Apple apps are a whole different story…

Huh, I’ve never tried making Apple apps. I’d like to give them a shot one day though (specially because I’d love to create an app for an iPad)

I love the feeling of someone actually using what I made. Something I did was put to some use!

Yeah, I suppose. XCode and Swift feel so horrible (for me), but then, I’m not very adaptable to change (I learnt Android first)…
