We are Broadway project start now button

I can’t seem to get the button to change color maybe Im putting in in the wrong place, I’m a little confuse on the instructions they say :
In the main section (within the jumbotron section), add a link that says Get Started. Reference the CSS class btn-main to style the link into a dark gray button.
here is my code where I added the link and the get started Message

<!DOCTYPE html>
    <link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway:400, 600' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
  <link rel='stylesheet' href='style.css'/>
    <div class="header">
      <div class="container">
        <ul class="nav">

    <a href="http://broadway.com"><div class="jumbotron">Get Started</a>
      <div class="container">
        <div class="main">
          <h1>We are Broadway</h1>

when I go to the css tho add the ban-main class it doesn’t change any color

html, body {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;

.container {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
  padding: 0 10px;

.jumbotron {
  height: 800px;
  background: url(http://cdn.funcheap.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/broadway_magazine_bye_bye_birdie_-_funk_-_honestly_sincere__874.jpg)
.nav {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 20px 0;

any one who can see the error?

Hi Ismael,

None of the elements in your HTML have the .btn-main class. Try adding a class="btn-main" attribute to your <a> tag.
Also, your <a> tag (and it’s closing </a> belongs inside the <div class="main">, right below <h1>We are Broadway</h1>. You’ll need to add some text between your <a>...</a>, so it shows up.
