Wanderlust project 503 error

Hi there,
I’m stuck on step 13 of the Wanderlust project.

https://www.codecademy.com/paths/front-end-engineer-career-path/tracks/fecp-async-javascript-and-http-requests/modules/fecp-learn-javascript-requests/projects/wanderlust

my “getVenues” function looks like this:

const getVenues = async () => {
const city = $input.val();
const urlToFetch = url + city + '&limit=10&client_id='+ clientId +'&client_secret=' + clientSecret + '&v=20211222';
console.log(urlToFetch);
try{
    const response = await fetch(urlToFetch);
    if(response.ok){
      console.log(response);
    }
  }
  catch(error){
    console.log(error);
  }
}

and I’m getting a 503 error in the console.
for some reason I can’t find anything similar in this forum.
I hope someone could shed some light on this.
thnx,
Gali

503 Errors usually indicate a problem with the server, so your code could actually be fine. Wait a little while and try it again and see if it works.

does it make sense that the FourSquare server is down for 3 days? could it be something else on my end?

Hey, you might want to check this thread:

The FourSquare API has been updated to a v3, so the lesson will not work until it’s updated.

I haven’t been able to make it work, I’ll have to wait until Codecademy updates, but maybe you have some luck.
