Wanderlust JS Foursquare authentication error

I am doing the Wanderlust project in the Introduction to JS course. Here is the link to the page:
https://www.codecademy.com/courses/introduction-to-javascript/projects/wanderlust

In Number 13, when I log the response to the console, the console tells me that the status is 200, so therefore successful. However when I copy and past the url into the browser, I get this message:

{
  "meta": {
    "code": 400,
    "errorType": "invalid_auth",
    "errorDetail": "Missing access credentials. See https://developer.foursquare.com/docs/api/configuration/authentication for details.",
    "requestId": "5d3d31e90d2be7002c80bac2"
  },
  "response": {

  }
}

I have looked at the authentication page but it’s all meaningless to me, I’m afraid. I have copied and pasted the urlToFetch code from the Hint, but it still doesn’t work:

const urlToFetch = url + city + '&limit=10&client_id=' + clientId + '&client_secret=' + clientSecret + '&v=20180401';

Apologies, if I’ve not put this in correctly - this is the first time I have posted a query like this.

Thank you.

I’ve got exactly the same situation as above. Any help?

I had the same thing happen to me. This page outlines the errors from foursquare and what they mean, however an error 400 doesnt make sense for a url that is obviously valid. I know they were having server issues when I received errors of this nature, so that may be whats going on. I think it gets confused returning error codes when the server isnt running proper. Try it again a bit later and see what happens.

Thanks to you both for your replies. I think you’re right randyrockett - when I tried the following day, I didn’t get the error message, and everything worked ok. Now if only I could get the rest of my code to work. Thanks again.
