I am unfamiliar with VSCode Python but what I would suggest is typing in the console either

After finding the location of the file and the file itself

python filename

or

python3 filename

Hi. Not an expert at VS code but you appear to have a few terminals open (left hand side).
Is Python debugger the bottom one (looks a little like a spider rather than right arrow in a box).
