VR/AR Design and Development

hi there,

VR/AR hasn’t taken off yet. But is there anybody in the community planning to go the route of programming for VR/AR? Is anyone already enrolled in taking that as a subject in school?

I’d like to hear more from the community about your experience and thoughts on the subject.

I hope to go back to school to learn AR/VR sometime soon. I want to think it will be big in the future. Apple is coming out with its headset in 2023. At least that’s what people are saying.

I’ve bought an Oculus Quest 2 and love it very much. I hope that I will be able to create some cool apps for it soon.

Is anybody on board with this, please?

Take a look into using Unity to make a basic VR world for you to just exist in. Something that you can open up on your headset and get used to the VR space. From there, you can add anything you want, but take it in baby steps.

Thanks for the heads up. I think just trying to be in the world is fascinating and hope that this will eventually blow up.
