Visualizing World Cup Data With Seaborn - f, ax (?)

Hi fellow coding learners,

In the world cup data with deaborn project, the instruction asked me to include below code.

f,ax2 = plt.subplots(figsize = (12,7))

what does the left side mean here? This should define a variable but it’s weird that two variables in the left side separated by a comma. Why do we need f here? There’s no usage of f in my entire code.

Please help me! Thanks!!!

df_goals = pd.read_csv(‘goals.csv’)
print(df_goals.head(5))

sns.set_style(‘whitegrid’)
sns.set_context(‘notebook’,font_scale = 1.25)
f,ax2 = plt.subplots(figsize = (12,7))
ax2 = sns.boxplot(data = df_goals, x = ‘year’, y = ‘goals’,palette=‘Spectral’)
ax2.set_title(‘Goals by year’)
plt.show()
