Visual Studio code (VScode) not working

Hi, I use VScode to code HTML and CSS. For whatever reason, my code is not working, but I don’t know why. as far as i know, there is nothing wrong with my code. i think i need an extra pair of eyes to see my problem. Here is my code:

There is no padding, text color, or font.
Please help ASAP!!!
