Can some one review what are variables and how they are written in python code?

A variable can take any name that is not a Python reserved word. There is no special syntax, save variable name on the left and the value or object on the right of the equals sign (assignment operator).

my_var = "some string value"

a = 5

my_list = [1,2,3,'four', 'five', 'six']

my_dict = { prop1: 42, prop2: "meaning of life" }
