Using history.pushState() in the Jamming project

I’m following the project to interact with the Spotify API and I’m currently stuck on step 80. The hint says this:

window.setTimeout(() => accessToken = '', expiresIn * 1000);
window.history.pushState('Access Token', null, '/');

The walkthrough doesn’t really explain exactly what’s going on here and I’ve not come across this syntax anywhere in the course before. I’ve tried looking it up on various articles and videos but I just don’t get it. What exactly is the 2nd line doing?
