User Forms to input into a SQL table

Hi. I’m just starting out and have only begun the SQL learning module. In the 1st lesson, I learned to use SQL code to build a table (CREATE TABLE) and then how to INSERT data. I’m pretty confident that there are applications that are used, like “google forms”, that allow an end user to fill the data. What is THAT application? Are there many different applications that do this?
