Upper() Glitch?

#1

I'm pretty sure I have the right code but.....

my code is
line 4 parrot.upper()
line 5 print parrot.upper()
print out is
NORWEGIAN BLUE
None
error' Nothing printed'

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/python-beginner-sRXwR/1/3?curriculum_id=4f89dab3d788890003000096

Replace this line with your code.

#2

your code look correct ( even when you did repeat parrot.upper() ) , so try to refreach the page

#3

Thanks,
tried that didn't work

#4

can you rewrite your full code

#5

refreshed and replaced it same error (copy\paste of code below)

parrot = "norwegian blue"

print
parrot.upper()
print parrot.upper()

#6

this is why , codecademy expect the output to be NORWEGIAN BLUE so they can verify that your code is correct , but your first print statement print nothing and second ( the correct one ) print NORWEGIAN BLUE , so try to remove your first print

#7

Awesome thanks!! that did it
