Unit 3, Section 6

#1

I am stuck on Jumbotron fonts. I am almost positive that I have this right. It keeps telling me "Oops, try again. Inside the head element add the link element for the custom font" This is what my code looks like:

<div class="jumbotron">
  <div class="container">
    <h1>Find a place to stay.</h1>
    <p>Rent from people in over 34,000 cities and 192 countries.</p>
  </div>
</div>

<div class="learn-more">
  <div>
	<div>
  	  <div>
		<h3>Travel</h3>
		<p>From apartments and rooms to treehouses and boats: stay in unique spaces in 192 countries.</p>
		<p><a href="#">See how to travel on Airbnb</a></p>
	  </div>
	  <div>
		<h3>Host</h3>
		<p>Renting out your unused space could pay your bills or fund your next vacation.</p>
		<p><a href="#">Learn more about hosting</a></p>
	  </div>
	  <div>
		<h3>Trust and Safety</h3>
		<p>From Verified ID to our worldwide customer support team, we've got your back.</p>
		<p><a href="#">Learn about trust at Airbnb</a></p>
	  </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

And CSS:

.nav a {
color: #5a5a5a;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
padding-top: 14px;
padding-bottom: 14px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}
.jumbotron {
height: 500px;
background-image: url('https://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
}
.jumbotron h1 {
color: #fff;
font-size: 48px;
font-weight: bold;
}

.jumbotron p {
color: #fff;
font-size: 20px;
}

For anybody wondering, this is actually in the "Make a Website: CSS Styling". Not HTML & CSS lessons.

#4

and I hate to say this. But you're missing a "s" at the end of the link.

it should be ".../ltp/css/shift.css"

After that you should also have the:

<link href="main.css" rel="stylesheet">

That's how it knows where you're shooting the reference to because CSS is in it's own file.

#5

then in your CSS page you were also suppose to set the font-family to 'shift', sans-serif in .jumbotron h1.

like so:

.jumbotron h1 {
    color:#fff;
    font-size: 48px;
    font-weight:bold;
    font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
}

Sorry for so many replies, I'm finding several things each time I post a reply.
