Trouble Linking HTML with CSS

#1

I'm new to coding and am trying to create my first website for practice. I'm trying to link the .css file from my .html, but it doesn't appear when I view the file in Chrome. My css file is labeled as unicorn.css and both docs are in the same folder. Sure I'm making a newbie mistake...

<link href="unicorn.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
 <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Slabo+27px" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato" type= "text/css" ref="stylesheet">

Below is the CSS content

h1, h2 {
	font-family: 'Slabo', serif;
	font-size: 24px;
}
h1 {
	background-color: rbg(251, 89, 205);
}
h2 {
	background-color: rgb(253, 173, 230);
}
p {
	font-family: 'Lato', sans-serif;
	font-size: 16px;
}

When you open the html file in Chrome, hit CTRL + U. Do you see the link at the top of the page?

If so, are you sure that the css file is in the same directory as the html file?

Sorry for an additional question - do I see which link at the top of the page?
