<In what way does your code behave incorrectly? Include ALL error messages.>
I am not receiving an error message. the word typed into the console does not translate to pig latin.

<What do you expect to happen instead?>
The word typed into the console should be translated to pig latin.

```python
pyg = “ay”
original = raw_input("Enter a word: ")
if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
word = original.lower()
first = word[0]
new_word = word+first+pyg
new_word = new_word[1:len(new_word)]
print original
else:
print “empty”
<do not remove the three backticks above>
#2
The line print original needs to be changed to print new_word in order for the translation to appear in the console.
