This set of code is displaying "object" and "true" in the terminal window. But, it keeps telling me "Make sure to set prototypeType to the typeof Object.prototype" Please help real quick

#1

// what is this "Object.prototype" anyway...?
var prototypeType=typeof(Object.prototype);
console.log(prototypeType);

// now let's examine it!
var hasOwn =(Object.prototype).hasOwnProperty("hasOwnProperty");
console.log(hasOwn);

@lsr13

++++ reset of session *****************
As you are manipulating with objects
under certain circumstances you can shoot your Browser in an
inconsistent state.

Therefor it is of an advantage to know that you have 2 reset facilities:

One is the use of the F5-key which does a refresh Browser

and

Two, select&copy your code
Then use the Reset Code button of the course-window,
then paste your code back in.

Addendum
General Notes:
Always refresh the browser after making corrections:
CTRL f5 ( if on Windows or Linux)
CMD r ( if on a MAC).
CTRL 0 to reset browser zoom

i'm sorry, but that doesn't seem to be helpful

@lsr13,
I tried your code using a window 8.1 IE11 environment and got a pass....
You could remove the parentheses
like

var hasOwn =Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty("hasOwnProperty");

@leonhard.wettengmx.n

I just checked into some previous entries and found that what the codecademy compiler was asking me to do was to remove the paranthesis in the typeof command line

Thank you for your halp
