It used to say that alice and Lloyd added up to a different number than expected.

I would like to know why when I put the return command on the same idk column as the for loop command. The code that went through was when I put the return command without an indentation. When i had the return command right under the line of the results.append(blahblah) command. (key word = indentation)

Can anyone explain what return does? And why I had to return with without the indentation, please?

This is Python, and we're already well on to functions, dictionaries and lists. This question is not only surprising, but ludicrous.
