The Big If

#1
 Here is my code syntax so far. Am I on the right track? Please advise.

Make sure that the_flying_circus() returns True

def the_flying_circus():
if 10 == 10 and 5 == 5: # Start coding here!
return True
# the code inside this block!
elif answer:
# Keep going here.
# You'll want to add the else statement, too!

#2

I'm also having trouble with the same thing, I just don't know what to do next!:scream:

Make sure that the_flying_circus() returns True
def the_flying_circus():
if 10 == 10 and 5 == 5: # Start coding here!
return True

the code inside this block!

elif answer:

Keep going here.

You'll want to add the else statement, too!

#5

you may not be on the right track
because u need to follow what the instructions say, use comparators, boolean operators true or false.
plus u need a variable which at the end of the day returns true... its hard to achieve that
using figures but its possible.
for example u need a situation of yes or no, good or bad, short or tall. go back and look at the code opening the chapter and look at the hint too

#6
 Here is my revised code syntax. Am I on the right track now? Please advise.

Make sure that the_flying_circus() returns True

def the_flying_circus():
if 10 == 10 and 5 > 4: # Start coding here!
return True
# Don't forget to indent
# the code inside this block!
elif answer:
10 > 5 or 5 < 10# Keep going here.
return True

else:
    not 5 == 5 not 10 == 10# You'll want to add the else statement, too!
    return True

 I figured out my syntactical error and now my code runs fine. Thanks!

Sincerely,

#8

My problem was that my 'else' wasn't indented, here is my code, it works. Hope it helps.

Make sure that the_flying_circus() returns True

def the_flying_circus():
if 5>5.5:
False
# Start coding here!
# Don't forget to indent
# the code inside this block!
elif 5>4.5:
True
# Keep going here.
# You'll want to add the else statement, too!
else:
print "Return and try again"
